Battery codes and chip differences - APN & chips updates!

We have important updates to share with you regarding battery codes (APN) and the differences between ZY and TI Chips. Here's what you need to know:

  1. Battery Codes (APN) and SKU Unification

Previously, you may have seen different codes for our iPhone batteries. We have now unified them into one SKU. So, in a single order, you might receive different codes. Rest assured, the batteries' performance remains the same, ensuring consistent quality.

  1. Understanding ZY and TI Chips

ZY Chip: The ZY Chip is a non-original chip that does not display battery capacity in your phone's settings since it cannot be programmed with the original battery's serial number.

TI Chip: The TI Chip is the original chip used with Apple batteries. It supports programming with the original battery's serial number, allowing accurate tracking and displaying battery capacity. These chips offer enhanced functionality and compatibility.

Please note: Even though a TI chip is an original chip, be aware that the pop-up “non-original part” will still appear. If this occurs, read our blog about how to remove this pop-up.
